Our dedicated team comprises of competent people with extensive knowledge and experience. Our professionalism and expertise helps us to service our clients to their satisfaction. Our system of quality control starts with our people. We maintain stringent hiring standards, which include assessment not only of each individual's school/academic records, but also interviews, background checks, and references. Once they join our Firm, our people participate in formal training and they are trained continuously on the job--with respect to the broad core competencies and the specialized areas (e.g., specific industry) in which they will be working. Tax Genious partners also receive continuous training, development, and education, and they are an integral part of the training of our staff. A key partner responsibility is to coach, work with, review, train, and set the example for the professionals on their teams. Equally important, all Tax Genious people receive, from hiring onwards, a thorough orientation to the cultures and values of the Firm: Quality (that includes independence, objectivity, and integrity), Trust, Teamwork, Excellence, and Leadership. We expect our partners and staff to live by these values in the course of their professional career. The performance of partners and staff is evaluated by their peers, their subordinates, and their superiors against these measures. Partners and staff are recognized and rewarded for being good accountants and auditors and for performing a quality audit, as well identifying inappropriate accounting and financial reporting treatments. They are also responsible, after internal consultation with our Risk and Quality experts, for communicating to the client when a treatment is not acceptable--even if it means losing or withdrawing from a client. We call it "standing firm on quality†and it is a key part of our culture.
